Avengers Endgame LEAK: Footage ‘from END of the movie’ lands online ahead of release date

Express.co.uk will not reveal plot spoilers from the apparent leak, which has ignited discussion among fans on various social media platforms.

The footage was doing the rounds yesterday, with the consensus seeming to be that the leak concerned the third act of the hugely anticipated blockbuster – which is out next week.

Despite the actions of the leaker, Marvel fans are rallying behind Kevin Feige and the Russo brothers; vowing to keep online discussion spoiler-free on Twitter.

Jeremy Conrad, trusted Marvel expert and blogger, warned: “Post any of the leaked Avengers Endgame spoilers in any reply to a Tweet of mine and you’re blocked.”

Meanwhile a Chris Evans fan account posted: “apparently a video from endgame has been leaked. the movie is less than 10 days away guys. don’t put yourselves thru that. BE CAREFUL.”

The Russo brothers have not remarked on the leak on Twitter, and nor has Feige.

But Joe Russo recently spoke out on the very nature of spoilers and leaks, telling Box Office Pro: “I think this one has even more spoilers than the last one [Avengers: Infinity War].

“This is a culture that wants everything now, and it’s getting worse.

AVENGERS ENDGAME THEORY: THIS CHARACTER WILL DEFEAT THANOS?

“The world is connected via social media, and information travels within seconds.

“If you’ve been following along with this narrative for 10 years, you’re going to want to protect yourself. It’s best to go in clean.

“I encourage people to go opening weekend because I’m sure everything is going to hit the internet the moment the movie hits the screen.”

Despite the leak, Avengers: Endgame is poised to be the biggest movie of the year – and easily one of the biggest of all time.

It’s already smashed pre-sales records, and is currently pacing towards a US opening weekend that could hit an unfathomable $300 million.

A number that high will be good news for the movie industry in general, after a poor start to the year in terms of box office takings.

Paul Dergarabedian of Comscore said, according to ComicBook.com: “It may be tough to imagine at this point that 2019 could ultimately post record-breaking revenues, but a slow start that has handed the industry a 17 percent year-to-date deficit will in less than two weeks begin to assemble perhaps the greatest comeback in box office history with a monumental slate that will set into motion a herculean reversal of fortune.”

Avengers: Endgame is out on April 25 in the UK.
