Blizzard servers are down tonight, with the support team confirming that issues are affecting players trying to login.
This can affect all games and titles currently running on Battle Net servers, including games like Overwatch and Call of Duty Warzone.
The good news is that Blizzard knows about the current server issues and has engineers on the problem.
“We’re currently investigating an issue affecting our authentication servers, which may result in failed or slow login attempts,” a message from Blizzard explains.
While Blizzard knows about the current outage affecting Call of Duty Warzone, there is no ETA on how long it will take for things to return to normal.
The good news is that there have been many server issues with leading games and platforms this week, due to higher than usual server demand.
Much of this appears to be connected to the Coronavirus outbreak, with more people around the globe spending time indoors under quarantine instructions.
One user writes: “Mine says checking for updates then goes right to download failed.. I’m on f2p is that down right now.”
If server issues continue, we would expect an update from Blizzard on when Battle Net will be back to normal.
