Boris Johnson shocked a crowd at a Staffordshire factory ahead of his election speech as he barrelled through a polystyrene wall with the words “gridlock” etched across it while riding a JCB. The JCB was painted in the Union Jack colours with the words “get Brexit done” written on its bucket. After smashing through the wall the Prime Minister exited the vehicle and posed for photographs.
Later in his speech, Mr Johnson insisted that under a Tory government Brexit would be quickly resolved.
The Prime Minister also attacked Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party for their attitudes towards Brexit.
He noted that he could not think of a single Labour Cabinet member who has publicly said they would support his supposed new Brexit deal.
