Mr Johnson has repeatedly pledged that Brexit will take place on October 31, regardless of whether a formal exit deal is agreed. However opposition parties and some backbencher Conservative MPs have vowed to block the Prime Minister in Parliament. Mr Tice insisted the Brexit Party is ready to win a general election and serve in Government.
He commented: “Boris is enthusiastic and optimistic but if he doesn’t deliver, if renegades within his party betray him to stop Brexit, then essentially that party becomes ungovernable.
“People will come over to the Brexit Party.
“There will be a general election and yes we could win that general election.
“If the Conservatives do not deliver Brexit on October 31 and they have to go begging to the European Union for a third time, the Conservative Party then would be finished.
“Our phones would be red hot with furious Tory MPs saying ‘we want to come over to the Brexit Party’ and we would then get ready to be the party of Government no question at all.”
The Brexit Party won May’s European Parliament elections in the UK with 31 percent of the vote.
By contrast the Conservative Party, then led by Theresa May, took just 9 percent.
Mr Tice also used the interview to attack the prospect of a cross-party anti-Brexit Government being formed by MPs in Parliament.
He asserted: “It’s not a Government of national unity – it would be a coalition of remoaning anti-democrats.
“We’ve not yet implemented the decision of the people.
“If they want a review of the decision 10-15 years after we’ve implemented Brexit fine.
“What we’re seeing is a desperate last act from people who think they know better, they think they’re the elite because they’re at Westminster and part of the establishment.”
The Liberal Democrats, Green Party and SNP are all campaigning to overturn the 2016 Brexit referendum result.
Labour says it will demand another referendum on any Conservative EU exit deal, during which it will campaign for ‘Remain’.
Mr Tice claimed a Labour Government would be deeply damaging for the British economy.
He asserted: “I think any right minded person is completely terrified by the prospect of a Marxist Corbyn led McDonnell controlled Government that seems to think that the right economic model is the economic model pursued by Venezuela.
“That is nothing to do with the way this great democratic nation of ours should be.”
Senior Labour Party figures did previously praise aspects of the Venezuelan regime, but insist their economic model for the UK is social democratic.
