Call of Duty servers are down tonight across platforms, according to the latest reports from fans.
Problems are being flagged by Modern Warfare gamers on PS4, Xbox One and Battle Net, with outage reports popping within the last hour (2am GMT).
Call of Duty Warzone players are also reporting maintenance error messages popping up when they try to log in and play.
One user writes: “Servers should be back within the hour. Average Blizzard maintenance is around 47 minutes.”
Another adds: “What’s going on, the servers on Activision’s website says everything’s green.”
Activision has yet to share details on why maintenance is currently being undertaken on Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare servers.
A new Call of Duty Modern Warfare update is scheduled to go live later today March 24, on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
However, it’s unclear if the current maintenance period is part of that patching process.
The good news is that initial outage reports have started to drop and this could indicate that core services for Modern Warfare are returning to normal for all platforms.
