The Prime Minister’s pregnant fiancée joined Britons across the country applauding key workers as she posted a painting of a rainbow. The rainbow logo is being used by families to show their support for NHS staff and other key workers. The 32-year-old shared the snap with clapping emojis.
Carrie, who last week revealed she had been suffering coronavirus symptoms, is at least six months pregnant.
Twitter users were quick to respond to Carrie’s post.
ITV Good Morning presenter Piers Morgan posted a message underneath the picture implying he was praying for her.
Piers posted the “praying hands” emoji and a thumbs up.
Shortly before households across the country took part in the nationwide applause of key workers, it emerged that the Prime Minister had come out of intensive care.
No 10 said he “has been moved this evening from intensive care back to the ward, where he will receive close monitoring during the early phase of his recovery”.
People responded to Carrie’s post by welcoming the good news about the improvement with her fiancee’s health.
One person said: “Great news! You must have been worried sick – we all were!”
