A neurologist at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Dr Robert Stevens, has his say on neurological symptoms of COVID-19.
“It could be [a result of] low levels of oxygen in the bloodstream.”
He continues that this could “have a significant impact on the function of the brain”, and may “lead to confusion”.
Adding: “We are still in the early days of this, and we don’t really know for sure.”
