PS Now April 2021: Five new PS4 games coming to PlayStation Now? http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/daily-express-gaming/~3/qg2e8jpBD3I/PS-Now-April-2021-Five-new-PS4-games-PlayStation-Now

PlayStation Now is getting a big update this week as part of the next PS Store refresh.

This will mean new PS4 games being added to the service, with no major titles scheduled for removal.

Based on recent announcements, we would expect Sony to reveal its plans for PS Now April 2021 on Tuesday.

However, due to an early announcement last month, there is also a slim chance of the news being shared in the coming hours, on April 5.

There have been no leaks or hints regarding what could be coming to PlayStation Now, and fans can’t even rule out crossovers.

The latest PlayStation Plus free games will be released on April 6, and it seems unlikely that we will see the likes of Days Gones and Zombie Army 4 being announced.

We can also rule out Oddworld: Soulstorm, as this is a new game, and they rarely join PS Now straight out the gates.

But as mentioned above, we can’t rule them out entirely as Sony has no qualms with the same game being offered on PS Plus and PS Now at the same time.

And with so many first and third-party games to choose from, it’s hard to gauge what could be coming next to PS Now.

The one big thing to note is that while no major games are scheduled to leave the service this week, plenty are being removed in the coming months.

And this could mean that we could five new games added to the PS Now library, rather than the regular three.

Unlike PS Plus, PlayStation Now subscribers can get massive refreshes, which in the past have included up to seven games.

These can vary in quality, but with a few high-profile games disappearing at the end of April and May, this could be a bumper month for announcements.

April and May will see the following games removed: Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, The Crew 2, Wreckfest: Drive Hard. Die Last, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.

Descriptions for each game and its removal date can be found below:

BLACK OPS 3 – April 29

In the dark future of Call of Duty: Black Ops III, the lines are blurred between humanity and the technology we’ve created, a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare. Tackle Treyarch’s story campaign solo, or squad up with another player in local split-screen or online.

THE CREW 2 – May 6

In The Crew 2, take on the American motorsports scene as you explore and dominate the land, air, and sea of the United States in one of the most exhilarating open worlds ever created. With a wide variety of exotic cars, bikes, boats, and planes to choose from, experience the unbridled thrill and adrenaline-pumping excitement of competing across the entire USA as you test your skills in a wide range of driving disciplines.

KINGDOM COME: DELIVERANCE – May 3

In the midst of this chaos, you’re Henry, the son of a blacksmith. Your peaceful life is shattered when a mercenary raid, ordered by King Sigismund himself, burns your village to the ground. Fate drags you into this bloody conflict and shoves you into a raging civil war, where you help fight for the future of Bohemia.

(Why?)
Mon, 05 Apr 2021 06:02:11 +0000 Gary Jones

Smyths PS5 UK stock update coming with Argos and GAME PlayStation 5 restocks http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/daily-express-gaming/~3/VlN27bOBFFM/Smyths-PS5-UK-stock-update-Argos-GAME-PlayStation-5-restock

This week might see multiple PS5 stock updates in the UK, and the next could be coming soon.

The latest reports suggest that Smyths Toys could release a small shipment this week, perhaps as soon as today.

There is no guarantee that something will materialise on April 5, but gamers should be prepared to check Smyths and see if anything does appear.

But even if something does arrive this week, it’s unlikely that there will be enough PS5 consoles to keep up with demand.

Stock tracker accounts suggest that the next Smyths PS5 stock will offer a limited number of consoles.

This will mean that gamers will only have a slim chance at purchasing a PS5 from Smyths, but the good news is that other retailers are also expected to see updates.

Both Argos and GAME are also expected to see updates, although it might not arrive until later this week.

According to the PS5 Instant Twitter account, Argos and Game could see a PlayStation 5 restock as early as April 8.

This could be delayed until next week, with Smyths another retailer that might not resupply until next week.

Knowing that more PlayStation stock is coming is important, but console hunters should also know the best ways to get stock from each platform.

Here are a few examples of how best to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:

ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and being unable to complete purchases when site traffic is high. Stock trackers suggest using the mobile Argos app and keeping an eye on local store listings.

AMAZON UK: Amazon UK runs better under strain but still comes with a few kinks worth mentioning. Having an account set up with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wishlist before checking out.

GAME: Game is a UK retailer that offers the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout, as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase.

Early morning drops are also widespread, and the next updates from Argos are expected to arrive at around 3am BST.

Meanwhile, Game UK is a retailer that launches stock later in the day, usually releasing around 10am BST.

PS5 Instant also has a list of times to check leading UK retailer for PS5 stock, which can be found below:

Amazon 8-9am early week

Very 9-11am

John Lewis 4-7am

Tesco – uncollected orders

ASDA 9-1pm

EE via emails

The latest information from PS5 Instant adds: “Smyths has a small drop of 2000 units planned for early April. John Lewis has pallets of PS5 in warehouses.

“April is promising for stock; at least one major retailer will release every week! With GAME & Amazon receiving two big shipments minimum.”

(Why?)
Mon, 05 Apr 2021 01:49:30 +0000 Gary Jones
