EFL Championship set to restart on June 20 as clubs agree timetable – EXCLUSIVE

Championship clubs have finally pencilled in Saturday, June 20 as the date football will return to England.
Similarly, there is still no vote on the manner of how League One will end, with clubs now set to vote some time next week on whether to try to resume the campaign or decide promotion and relegation on a points-per-game basis.
Although it is thought that League One clubs would take less time to get up and running once a decision is made, the continued delays make it more and more likely that clubs will follow League Two and abandon the season.
The clock, though, is definitely ticking for the Championship clubs – the main reason clubs are being briefed informally by the EFL’s planned timetable even before it is published.
