Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 is scheduled to end soon on PS4, Xbox One and PC but there are still a few surprises being planned. More events are expected in the coming weeks, and there’s something new happening later today. According to the latest leaks, the Fortnite Deadpool skin Challenges are not over and more are being released on April 10, meaning a new variant to unlock.
And not only that, but new Deadpool skins are available to buy now from the Fortnite item Shop.
These include existing cosmetic items that have been given a Deadpool revamp, such as the Ravenpool and Cuddlepool skins.
And it looks like there will also be additional Week 8 Challenges available to everyone with a Battle Pass.
From what has been shared so far, Fortnite gamers will be able to remove the mask from Deadpool.
This will reportedly reveal Wade Wilson’s face, which looks very similar to the one featured in Marvel Comics and Movies.
HOW TO GET THE NEW DEADPOOL SKIN
According to the latest news from leakers, a new version of the Fortnite Deadpool skin will become available to unlock during Week 8.
This new version will be released later today, April 10, and it looks like the skin variant will unlock when the Week 8 challenges become available at 3pm BST (7am PST).
These will make it possible to unlock an unmasked version of Wade Wilson, which will be available to Battle Pass owners.
Since Chapter 2 Season 2 launched, we’ve known that Deadpool would be the secret skin available closer to the end of the season.
But we didn’t know that there would be an extra version of the Deadpool skin, which was uncovered earlier this month.
And the good news is that if you have done everything needed to unlock Deadpool up until this point, the next stage will be very easy.
The two new Week 8 Challenges for Fortnite Battle Royale reportedly include finding Deadpool’s Floaty and Dancing at Deadpool’s Yacht Party.
But gamers will only need to complete one of these challenges to unlock the next version of the Deadpool skin.
So there should be plenty of people floating around before the end of April sporting the new Wade Wilson design.
No extra information has been shared regarding the whereabouts of the Deadpool Floaty, but there’s a good chance it will be found in the agent vaults.
At this point, there is no suggestion that more Challenges will be replaced before the start of Season 3.
And recent leaks have suggested that Epic Games could look to delay the launch of the next seasonal update.
a new leak has revealed that files for an update 12.50 patch have already been discovered by Fortnite dataminers.
Which could suggest a two-week delay to the Fortnite season 3 launch, meaning the new Battle Pass would then launch later in May.
However, this all remains unverified and should, therefore, be taken with a big pinch of salt.
Epic Games are likely to share more news about its next Fortnite Season in the coming weeks.
