Fortnite Sword location Season 7: Where is Infinity Blade in Fortnite, how do I get it?

Epic Games has decided to mix things up a little in Fortnite Season 7 by adding a new sword location.

As the recent patch notes reveal, the new sword is called the Infinity Blade is a Mythic melee weapon that deals big damage and destroys structures.

So you can understand why so many Forntite players want to know where the location of this new beating weapon is.

The good news is that unlike other major Fortnite Easter eggs and secrets, Epic Games isn’t trying to make it hard to find.

However, it does comes with some rules on how to wield and what players can do when they have it in Fortnite Season 7.

First things first, you need to find the new Infinity Blade location in Fortnite Battle Royale.

This Mythic melee weapon can be found on Polar Peak, and is therefore found in the south-eastern area of the map.

The new Fortnite Sword can be found in the Castle on Polar Peak, where players will want to head to the pedestal in the courtyard.

For those Fortnite fans who have not explored the castle yet, you will want to head to the bottom of the C-7 map marker area.

When you have reached the right location you may find it harder to pick up the sword than first thought.

That’s because it takes a couple of seconds to actually pick it up and be able to wield against your fellow players.

To say that there are a lot of gamers trying to grab the Infinity Blade is an understatement, so expect to be cut down several times even attempting it.

The Fortnite Sword is available to use in any normal mode right now, meaning it’s a massive bonus for anyone who is wielding it.

Epic Games has set out the rules for what you can and cannot do when you have it in your possession.

While players see a massive boost in health and shield when you using the new sword, they cannot pick up other items.

Its Primary Fire delivers a powerful sword slash and deals big damage to enemies and destroys structures in one blow.

For players on the receiving end of this, it means a 75 damage each slash.

The Infinity Blade also boasts alternate fire, allowing the player to leap great distances, destroying objects in its path.

When a player lands, they can deliver damage and a knock-up to nearby players

This is about 25 damage and makes it a little harder for other to get the drop on the sword wielder.

The wielder of the sword is also granted additional abilities, including:

  • An increased pool of max Health and Shields (200 Health/200 Shields).
  • Regeneration of effective Health over time up to max Health and Shields (1 HP per second).
  • An instant burst of effective Health upon elimination of an enemy (50 HP).
  • Increased movement speed (130%).

Here are a few other rules Epic Games has confirmed:

“The first player to pull the Infinity Blade from its pedestal will be instantly healed to full Health and Shields.

“If a player picks up the Infinity Blade, all other inventory items aside from building materials will be dropped.

“When the wielder of the Infinity Blade picks up an item (aside from building materials), the Infinity Blade will be dropped.

“The Infinity Blade will be dropped when the wielder is knocked out or eliminated.”

The good news is that only one Infinity Blade will appear per match, so you only have to worry about one Fortnite Sword ruining your game.
