A new warning has been shared by Epic Games regarding the remaining Fortnite Astronomical Concerts, featuring Travis Scott. While most gamers have been able to tune in and watch the big performance unfold, the development team has spotted a few problems. According to the latest reports from the Fortnite support team, there can be issues on Nintendo Switch.
This includes problems watching the Fortnite event on time, leaving some unable to join in.
The good news is that there is a solution to this issue that can be done before the event starts later today.
According to Epic Games, you can avoid these issues of crashing during the Astronomical Concert by relaunching the game before you log in to watch.
Epic Games confirms: “We’re aware of an increased likelihood of Nintendo Switch players experiencing a crash during Astronomical if they had previously played many matches in the same game session.
“To minimize the chance of this, we recommend relaunching the game 30 minutes before the show.”
Performing this task seems like a good idea on each platform, regardless of how you are playing and watching the event.
WHAT TIME IS THE NEXT FORTNITE ASTRONOMICAL EVENT?
Epic Games has confirmed that the next Fortnite Astronomical event will happen today at 5am GMT, on April 25.
This is the next time gamers can log in to enjoy the event but it won’t be the last time it will be happening.
The final show will be happening on April 25, at the later time of 11pm, GMT, for gamers in the UK. The last Travis Scott Concert will be happening at 6pm ET if you live in the United States.
FORTNITE EVENT TIME – HOW TO GET A SPOT
Epic Games has confirmed that Fortnite event servers for the Travis Scott Concert will be opening 30 MINUTES before the gig kicks off.
So this will be the time to jump into the game and try and claim a spot to watch the Fortnite Astronomical debut.
This will mean logging into Fortnite Battle Royale at 04:30am GMT on April 25 for gamers in the UK and at 11:30pm ET for those watching in the United States.
A follow-up message from Epic Games confirms: “Doors open 30 minutes before each show, so get there early to secure your spot.
“Our goal is to accommodate everyone possible, but if capacity is reached, please join us for one of the other shows.
“The Astronomical tour dates are NOT region locked, but we’ve selected times to make sure everyone has a chance to attend.”
With current world events unfolding as they are, this latest Fortnite event could be very popular when it launches this week.
The Fortnite support team has also made it clear that there will be no region lock, so there will be nothing stopping fans staying up late to try and tune in.
A message from Epic Games confirms: “From April 23-25, blast off into a one of a kind musical journey featuring Travis Scott and the world premiere of a brand new track.
“Astronomical is an other-worldly experience inspired by Cactus Jack’s creations, built from the ground up in Fortnite.
“To make sure everyone has a chance to experience Astronomical, we’re setting up multiple tour dates with showtimes for players around the globe.
“Jump in to whichever time fits your schedule best, or catch an encore with your friends if they missed it.”
