GB News confirms three big names in new presenting line-up

Over a year since its launch, the news channel is undergoing a revamp, with new presenters added to the extensive line-up. Among the new broadcasters announced are journalists Camilla Tominey, formerly of this parish, and Andrew Pierce. Former Defence Secretary Michael Portillo will also be joining the team of the famously “anti-woke” news outlet.

In a post by GB News’ official Twitter account, it was announced: “@CamillaTominey, @toryboypierce and Michael Portillo to join presenting line up.”

Political commentator Andrew will present his own show later this year while continuing his senior editorial position at the Daily Mail.

Former Sunday Express Political Editor Camilla will join in a new senior political presenting role.

Michael will be launching his own program in the autumn.

The 69-year-old presents various TV shows, including Great Continental Railway Journeys, Great Asian Railway Journeys and Great American Railroad Journeys.

Fans didn’t take long to react to the major announcement on social media.

Twitter user @MichaelTakeMP wrote: “@GBNEWS @CamillaTominey and @toryboypierce Three gorgeous people.

“These kids know how to deliver the goods. Sexy, articulate and courageous.

Phil Rees remarked: “Oh that’s great news,” while @GreenBin69 shared: “Portillo is an excellent choice.

“Someone who really rebuilt his career on BBC with his reasoned appearances on This Week & terrific ‘Railway Journeys’ series (which is more history by rail!).”

Several praised the famous faces for joining the line-up, eager to watch them make their GB News debuts.

“Oh it’s an embarrassment of riches,” @Johnnywas25 chimed.

However, some were against the latest expansion of the team.
