Gibraltar FIGHT BACK: Furious local demands army 'blow Spanish warships out of the water'

Local and Gibraltar historian Tito Vallejo has claimed the Foreign Officer is to blame for Spain’s aggression towards boats and ships in Gibraltar waters.

Mr Vallejo argued the Foreign Office’s insistence to avoid military responses has allowed Spain to bully UK and Gibraltar ships despite residing in their own waters.

He said: “Spain has always implemented lots of things at the border.

“The people are going to suffer more than the Spanish themselves.

“But if they implement the visa where it has to be paid, they would also have to put one here in Gibraltar.

“If you want to come into my house you have to pay me, if you want me to come into yours we will have to pay it and that is how it goes.

“Gibraltarians are already used to all this harassment from time immemorial.

“Look at what the Spanish boats are doing now with these warships.

“I see that as childish, that is why the British government doesn’t do anything.

“Not only that, the governors that we have in Gibraltar especially the one who left shortly, I’m sure he left frustrated.

“The Foreign Office is the culprit of all of this, they are the worst people that we have to counter.

“Even worse than the Spanish government as they manipulate everything.

“I’m sure that one of the governors that left recently would have loved to blow one of these ships out of the water.

“But they are military and have to obey what the politicians tell them.”

James Dutton was the Governor of Gibraltar between 2013 and 2015.

Mr Dutton cited the reason being frustration over “Britain’s failure to stand up to Spain.”
