Google Maps: Street View spots haunting sight on a mountain – is it a ghost?

Google Maps is an online mapping service owned by Google that is used by people all over the world. The maps service offers its users a choice of satellite images, street maps, panoramic views of streets and route planning. Street View gives its users a chance to view the streets of the world from their desktop computers, tablets or mobile phones.
Big Pine Mountain is based in the Los Padres National Forest near Santa Barbara.
This particular sight was captured bang in the middle of the forest just off a trail.
The scene depicts dry mountains, blue skies and shrubs.
Mountains can be seen for as far as the eye can see.
There is not a cloud in the sky but this does not make the scene any less creepy.
On the middle of the mountain are a group of hikers with rucksacks and hats.
But just in front of the group of hikers is a pair of legs with no torso or head.
The legs are wearing khaki shorts and hiking boots.
While this may seem creepy and haunting, on closer inspection it’s clear that this is the result of a panoramic photo gone wrong.
If you look closely, a hand can be seen next to the legs holding a bag of some kind.
Some of the hikers in the photo also seem to have body parts missing due to the quality of the panoramic photo.
The creepy scene was spotted on Reddit by a user who captioned the photo: “Big Pine mountain, body-less/headless.”
