The UK has 266,602 confirmed cases of coronavirus at the time of writing.
Theoharis said: “I think that the UK has a big difference in terms of the current medical status of the country with Greece, so I don’t think it’s likely it will be there.”
He added that the UK will not be accepted until figures show that the number of cases in the country has “improved”.
Greece eased its travel restrictions this week.
The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) explained: “From 25 May, you may travel throughout Greece, including to the islands.”
