Hearthstone Saviors of Uldum is being released in early August but before that happens, Blizzard is going to continue to make big reveals about the next expansion.
Recaps are being made each week regarding what new cards have been confirmed for the big Summer expansion.
And it has also been confirmed that another four new cards will be revealed this week for Saviors of Uldum.
This will be happening during San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 18, and will include a few other reveals that fans might enjoy.
This includes a special Hearthstone panel starring some of the voice actors and a development team member currently working on the new expansion.
The panel will feature four new card reveals, which will no doubt include a connection to one of the voice stars in attendance.
Here’s more from Blizzard, who confirmed this week: “The League of Explorers is coming to sunny Southern California for San Diego Comic-Con! Stop by for an unforgettable panel featuring iconic Hearthstone voice actors and a member of the development team.
“Hearthstone game designer Dave Kosak and voice actors Terrence Stone (Sir Finley), Amy Walker (Elise Starseeker), and Carlos Larkin (Brann Bronzebeard) will be on stage at Comic-Con to share stories about the iconic characters starring in Saviors of Uldum, our heroic upcoming expansion.
“The panelists will reflect on how they brought their characters to life—from their first audition to the process of finding their true voices—and even share a sneak peek at 4 of the Legendary new cards coming in Saviors of Uldum.
“The panel and Q&A session will be moderated by Blizzard’s senior casting and voice director Andrea Toyias.”
Saviors of Uldum has a release date set for August 6 and will include a range of new content for the popular online card game.
Hearthstone fans can look forward to new keywords, Hero Powers, and 135 new cards to contend with.
The League of Explorers will be the stars of the new expansion, taking on the League of E.V.I.L. and enjoying a single-player expansion in September.
Blizzard has confirmed that new Plague cards, boasting powerful, board-sweeping effects will be a major new part of meta gameplay.
The Reborn have also been revealed as restless mummified minions that come back to un-life (with just 1 Health remaining) upon being defeated.
“Starting with Rise of Shadows, and now with Saviors of Uldum, we’re refining game mechanics and exploring new ideas that will add even more layers of depth and strategic decision-making to Hearthstone,” said J. Allen Brack, president of Blizzard Entertainment.
“We think these new cards, as well as the return of fan-favourite heroes from the League of Explorers™ expansion, will continue making this the game’s most exciting and competitive year ever.”
