Loose Women host Charlene White was joined by Janet Street-Porter and Brenda Edwards in the studio while Stacey Solomon joined in from home. However, during a debate on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s biography Finding Freedom, the outspoken broadcaster clashed with Brenda.
Janet revealed she hadn’t read the book but disagreed she was a “hater” when Brenda described the different reactions to the biography.
“I thought the tone of the book was [like a] really gushing column in Private Eye,” Janet began.
“I mean quite honestly I read some of the serialisation. I can’t be bothered to read the book. I don’t want that to clog up my brain.
“Harry and Meghan, if they did cooperate with the book I think it’s a PR disaster.”
“But what does, ‘When appropriate’ mean?” Janet asked.
Brenda then added: “I love them, always been a supporter, always said let them be.
“Will this book change what people think of them?
“You’ll get three different times of people with this book you’re going to get the people like me who are supporters, you’re going to get haters…”
