John McDonnell speechless as Andrew Neil confronts him with dire polls ‘failed experiment’

John McDonnell struggled to defend Jeremy Corbyn when BBC’s Andrew Neil confronted him with multiple terrible polls that showed that the Labour leader was to blame for many voters jumping ship in the December general election.

A YouGov one for former Labour voters showed 35 percent had left because of Mr Corbyn’s leadership.

This is compared to 19 percent over the party’s Brexit stance and 16 percent because of their policy and economic competence.

Mr Neil pointed out that leadership was “by far the biggest issue” and that the Corbyn-McDonnell team was a “failed experiment”.
