Manchester United announce 23-man squad to face RB Leipzig in Champions League showdown

David De Gea and Luke Shaw will be with the squad for the crucial match in Germany but Solskjaer has confirmed Anthony Martial and Edinson Cavani will not be making the trip.

They both hobbled off in the 3-1 win against West Ham in the Premier League at the weekend.

“David De Gea is travelling, Luke Shaw is travelling,” Solskjaer said.

“Edinson and Anthony only minor niggles, but won’t be making the trip.”

RB Leipzig will be without highly-rated centre-back Dayot Upamecano as he is suspended after picking up three yellow cards.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side will be confident after the 3-3 draw with Bayern Munich at the weekend which leaves them third in the Bundesliga.
