Melania Trump payed her respects in a sombre black look as she stepped out with the US President, Donald Trump. The couple showed up for the late Supreme Court Justice, John Paul Stevens, during a private ceremony in Washington. Melania was spotted looking grave as she stood in the Great Hall of the Supreme Court. She dressed head to toe in black as she opted for a conservative dress and matching shoes.
The US First Lady wore a long-sleeved black dress which had no collar and a high neck.
The fitted pencil skirt design cut off just below the knees and Melania kept her legs bare.
On her dress, there was subtle leather detailing on the neckline and sleeves of the dress which also featured down the middle of the design.
Melania chose to wear a pair of closed toe stiletto high heeled shoes as she was seen bowing her head as a mark of respect.
Matching her make-up to her outfit, she opted for a smokey eye with black eyeshadow and lashings of mascara.
She completed her make-up with a slick of bronzer and a clear lipgloss on her lips.
Melania wore her hair down in a middle parting and it was styled into a bouncy blow-dry.
She kept her jewellery to a minimum and wore only her engagement and wedding ring on her left hand.
The First Lady is often spotted wearing outfits from her stunning designer wardrobe and recently wore a bold rainbow dress during US Independence Day celebrations.
The fit and flare dress was tied with a large white bow on one shoulder and had a small sleeve on the other.
It had a fitted top which flared into a large white full skirt which had multi-coloured stripes across it.
She paired the look with bright pink high heel shoes and some people took to Twitter to say they thought her dress was making a subtle nod to LGBT rights.
Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, also wears a number of fashionable designer garments when she steps out.
Melania spent an eye-watering £12,000 on outfits during her UK state visit in July but Ivanka also has a number of expensive outfits.
