Mulan’s release date has been moved from July 25 to August 21.
This is almost an entire month’s delay, and is just about two months away from the newest statement from the company’s creative studios.
Disney representatives Alan Horn, co-chairman and chief creative officer, and fellow co-chairman Alan Bergman spoke out in a joint statement this weekend.
“While the pandemic has changed our release plans for Mulan and we will continue to be flexible as conditions require, it has not changed our belief in the power of this film and its message of hope and perseverance,” they said.
