Carol Kirkwood was delivering a weather update to BBC Breakfast viewers on Thursday morning as temperatures continue to drop around the nation following a scorching summer. However, Charlie Stayt branded his co-host Naga Munchetty a “bit rude” as she interrupted the weather correspondent’s report.
As Carol explained the windy conditions hitting parts of the UK, Naga thanked her for the update but Charlie noticed the report was not finished.
Charlie swiped: “She’s still talking, that’s a bit rude, isn’t it?”
Naga quipped: “Well, yeah, but sometimes you can have enough of Carol, can’t you?”
Naga came under fire last week after interrupting Health Secretary Thérèse Coffey on the morning news programme.
Coffey outlined a new plan for the NHS last Thursday which would guarantee no one will wait more than two weeks for an appointment with a GP.
The minister’s plans have been criticised by health experts, with some believing the cap on appointments will put more pressure on already over-burdened surgeries.
Speaking over Coffey, Naga chimed in: “Sorry, when you say… I understand you’ll be setting out more detail.
