Mercedes has released a teaser image for the all-new CLA car ahead of its launch in January.
It will debut the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in 2019, which opens to the public on the 8th and runs until the 12th.
The second-generation CLA is a four-door coupe car which is likely to adopt a number of the new technologies revealed on recent cars say the firm.
This will likely include the MBUX infotainment system first seen on the A-Class earlier this year.
The MBUX system features a radical two-screen design which stretches from in front of the driver to the centre of the dashboard.
It is also likely to be able to specified with either front wheel or four wheel drive depending on the specification.
A number of new and updated powertrain options are also expected to be available when the car launches.
According to a report by Autocar, the new variant has been extended making it longer than its predecessor and the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe.
When it launches it will essentially be a pricer and more premium version of the new A-Class Saloon.
The teaser image revealed with the car shows a swooping roofline which should give it a sporty and athletic stance on the roads.
Recent spy shots also suggest that there will be a CLA Shooting Brake Estate car further down the line.
The car’s specs and pricing information is likely to be unveiled when the car launches at CES next month.
