Osama bin Laden’s son becomes key al-Qaeda TERRORIST ‘leader’ – US offers MASSIVE reward

Hamza Bin Laden was designated a “global terrorist” by US authorities two years ago. His father founded the terrorist group al-Qaeda, which carried out the 9/11 attacks on New York and Washington DC. In 2011 US special forces killed Osama Bin Laden during a raid in Pakistan.

The award was placed on the ‘Rewards for Justice’ website, run by the US State Department.

An accompanying caption said: “Hamza Bin Laden is the son of deceased former al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden and is emerging as a leader in the al-Qaeda franchise.

“He has released audio and video messages on the internet, calling on his followers to launch attacks against the United States and its Western allies.

“He has threatened attacks against the United States in revenge for the May 2011 killing of his father by U.S. military forces.”

The statement added that letters seized in the compound where Osama Bin Laden died suggest he was grooming his son to be his successor as al-Qaeda leader.

Hamza Bin Laden’s location is unknown, but he is suspected to be hiding somewhere along the Afghan-Pakistani border.

Michael Evanoff, Assistant Secretary for US Diplomatic Security, claimed: “We do believe he’s probably in the Afghan-Pakistan border and he’ll cross into Iran.

“But he could be anywhere in south-central Asia.”

It is believed Hamza Bin Laden spent several years living with his mother in Iran.

He married the daughter of Mohammed Atta, one of the leaders of the 9/11 terror attack.

Atta, an Egyptian national, flew a hijacked airliner into the north tower of the World Trade Centre.

Hamza Bin Laden has called for terror attacks targeting the US and its allies.

In 2015 he released an audio statement urging Islamic extremists in Syria to unite and focus on “liberating Palestine”, and he has also called for the Al Saud dynasty to be overthrown in his native Saudi Arabia.
