Outlander: Brianna Fraser star reveals storyline she fought for: ‘It is a shame’

Outlander viewers have witnessed the residents of the Starz and Amazon Prime Video show go through quite a lot. While Jamie Fraser (played by Sam Heughan) was sexually abused in season one at the hands of “Black Jack” Randall (Tobias Menzies). The unfortunate fate of the Frasers continued into season three, as Brianna Fraser (Sophie Skelton) was also raped, but at the hands of Stephen Bonnet (Edward Speleers).

Brianna’s ordeal caused ripples throughout the show’s storylines that are even still being felt in season five.

With so much going on in Brianna’s life, it would have been easy to drop the tougher aspects of her storyline as the seasons progress.
