Pokemon Go Shellder Spotlight Hour news ahead of Snubbull Limited Research event
The Pokemon Go Shellder Spotlight Hour happened today and it’d made for the perfect time to pick up some much needed Stardust. But as the name suggests, the Spotlight Hour only ran for up to sixty minutes, meaning a short time to take part in the event. Lucky for us Niantic has provided the Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour schedule before it kicked off, so everyone could be prepared.
More events like this will be happening each week, with the Spotlight Hour focusing on one chosen Pokemon, making it possible to catch a lot of them.
On May 5, this was Shellder and it seems likely there were a few Shiny Shellders floating around too.
But what makes the Spotlight Hour even better is that you can also enjoy a bonus, this time it being Stardust.
Here’s more from Niantic: “In the next few weeks, Pokémon Spotlight Hour will take place every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. local time and will continue to spotlight both a Pokémon and a special bonus!
“For each Pokémon Spotlight Hour, you can expect a different Pokémon and bonus.
“Please be aware of your surroundings when playing Pokémon GO. Upcoming events are subject to change. Be sure to follow us on social media, opt in to receiving push notifications, and subscribe to our emails to stay updated.”
Now the event is over, gamers can look forward to the next event, that being Snubbull Limited Research.
This will be another limited time event, kicking off on Saturday and offering a fresh range of rewards.
“On Saturday, May 9, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time, you can enjoy Snubbull Limited Research through special Timed Research tasks.
“With more than 50 tasks rewarding encounters with Snubbull, you’ll have plenty of chances to catch this Fairy Pokémon. If you’re lucky, you could even encounter a Shiny one.
“Be sure to complete the Timed Research during this time, as it will disappear at 10:00 p.m. local time on the dot.
“This event will be occurring at the same time as the Safari Zone Philadelphia ticketed event and Throwback Challenge 2020: Johto, so there will be much to do this weekend.”
“On Sunday, May 17, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, you can enjoy an Incense Day event featuring Water-type Pokémon and Dark-type Pokémon—notably Carvanha! During this time, Incense will attract more Carvanha, and you could even encounter a Shiny one if you’re lucky! An event-exclusive 1 PokéCoin bundle featuring three Incense will also be available to pick up in the shop.”
