Premier League footballers sell supercars with models available for up to £175,000

Premier League stars have decided to place a selection of top sports cars for sale through online marketplace AutoTrader during the lockdown. The stunning variety of models includes supercars such as the Ferrari 512 and Ford Mustang to luxurious family models such as the Land Rover Range Rover Sport. 

Some of the vehicles have been fitted with added upgrades such as a TV for rear passengers and full entertainment systems for long journeys. 

Models start from £37,000 with some players putong theri machines on the market for up to an eye watering £175,000. 

AutoTrader spokesperson Rory Reid said: “Auto Trader continues to be the go-to-destination for footballers looking for a change of wheels, particularly in the lead up to the Premier League restarting. 

“This year highlights the continued popularity for SUVs amongst Premier League stars, with the likes of Range Rovers continuing to take the top spots.”

Mark Hateley – Ferrari 512 – £174,900 

Former English footballer Mark Hateley tops the award for the most expensive Premier League sportscar on the AutoTrader market. 

The pristine 1993 two-door is visually stunning and only comes with 30,000 mieles on the clock. 

The car’s interior is kitted out with stunning Rosso carpets and Cavallino embossed seats for extra gleam. 

Wayne Rooney – Land Rover Range Rover Sport – £50,000 

Wayne Rooney’s Range Rover has done more miles than some of the cars on the lost with 74,000 on the dashboard. 

However, this model has everything you need to keep children happy on a long journey with  a freeview TV and a DVD player while privacy glass is an added bonus.

Vincent Kompany – Ford Mustang – £49,499 

This stunning Ford Mustang Shelby GT-California is extra spacious because only 215 of these limited edition designs were ever made. 

The car also has just 3,000 niels in the clock meaning the vehicle is in almost brand new condition. 

The car has been boosted with a Ford Racing Power Upgrade package as well as a epcillay tuen exhaust system and the Racing Handling Package. 

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink – Porsche 911 – £37,500 

The former football star purchased this 911 back in 2003 but has since had four other owners. 

The car was fully restored with no expense spared six years ago which has left the bodywork in an immaculate condition. 

Mileage is below average for these models with just 62,000 on the clock despite 17 years of road use.
