Princess Anne gives rare insight into her home as she congratulates NHS heroes

The Princess Royal published a video on The Royal Family Twitter account to praise the astonishing work carried out by constructors who built the brand new Louisa Jordan hospital. Workers built the hospital to help combat the coronavirus, with cases reaching 120,614 at the time of writing.

Princess Anne, the Queen’s only daughter, headed to Scotland to celebrate the centenary of the creation of the hospital Ms Jordan worked for in 2014.

The creation of the NHS Louisa Jordan hospital follows the launch of NHS Nightingale Hospitals across England, field hospitals created to treat patients affected by coronavirus.

During Anne’s speech, royal fans could admire the decor in what appears to be Princess Anne’s living room.

The room shows just how family orientated the Princess Royal really is.

Fans were able to see a range of heartwarming family photos gathered around the princess.

Not all of them could be made out during the video speech.

However, she seems to have images of her children in their younger years dotted about.

Pride of place went to a wedding photo of her daughter, Zara, with husband, Mike Tindall.

Mike and Zara can be seen standing side by side on their wedding day as they hold each other and look to the distance.

Both are in their memorable wedding outfits, in the picture positioned just on the left-hand side of the screen, behind the Princess Royal.

The picture was likely taken after the ceremony took place, as Zara is no longer wearing her veil.

Royal fans will remember Zara and Mike Tindall married a few months after Kate, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William.

The couple have two daughters together – Mia Grace Tindall, five, and Lena Elizabeth Tindall, one.

Elsewhere in the room, the Princess Royal’s love for the outdoors was clear as the room was filled with small porcelain woodland creatures.

This is much like Prince Charles, who has also been showing his appreciation for the NHS.

The first Nightingale hospital was built in London and launched by Prince Charles via video link on April 3.

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall even took their time to thank NHS hero captain Tom Moore.

They wished a “very happy 100th birthday” to Captain Tom Moore after the Duchess of Cornwall praised the veteran describing him as a “wonderful man”.

The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince of Wales’ official social media account, Clarence House, published: “Wishing a very happy 100th birthday to @captaintommoore today!”

The birthday message was accompanied by a video in which Camilla praised the veteran for his fundraising efforts.

The Duchess gifted Captain Tom Moore a “wonderful and thoughtful” cake and card from “whole of the York family”. The Duchess of York’s assistant Antonia Marshall shared an image of the elaborate cake to Instagram.

The message attached to the royal gift was from Fergie, ex-husband Prince Andrew, and their two daughters Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie.

It read: “Happy Birthday Captain Tom, with love to all your family, the York Family.”
