PS4 games NEWS: PlayStation update proves hugely popular with fans

PS4 owners are getting to grips with the new Death Stranding game update.

Once thought to be a PC exclusive, the brand new Death Stranding photo update was added to the game earlier this week.

“I know you all have been waiting for this,” reads a Sony tweet. “The latest update (v.1.12) for #DeathStranding is now available, and features Photo Mode! Change angles, colors, frames, expressions and more! What will you snap?”

As confirmed by the tweet, you can change the angle and the contrast of images, add filters, effects, logos and in-game items.

“Activate Photo mode by pressing left side of the Touch pad→L/R stick to change angles →L1/R1buttons for menus and edit→□button to hide menu→press SHARE button and △to save.

“You can see your saved photos from the Capture Gallery!”

As you can see from the images below, fans are having a blast with the new update, creating some incredible images just a few days after the update.

Death Stranding is a rather unique third-person adventure game starring Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen.

The stunning release features a unique multiplayer component with asynchronous gameplay.

While players won’t ever interact with each other, there is a co-operative element at play.

Your character must make deliveries in a barren world ravaged by the mysterious Death Stranding.

According to Hideo Kojima, one of the game’s objectives is to highlight the significance of forming bonds.

Death Stranding was recently nominated for a record 11 BAFTA Game Awards.

The divisive adventure game would go on to win the award for Technical Achievement.

“The genre-defying Death Stranding won in the new Technical Achievement category and its director, writer and designer, Hideo Kojima, was honoured with the Fellowship, the highest honour the Academy can bestow.”

Outer Wilds and Disco Elysium were the big winners of the week, picking up three awards each.
