Queen coronavirus escape: Queen and beloved corgis quit Buckingham Palace for Windsor

A stern-looking Queen was spotted leaving London this morning due to the coronavirus pandemic. The monarch was sitting in the rear seat of a car driving her away from Buckingham Palace.  

The monarch was not alone but in the company of her beloved dogs, with one sitting next to her curiously looking outside of the window. 

The Queen appeared to be wearing a blue jumper and a darker vest. 

The decision to start the Queen’s Easter break a week earlier came after coronavirus cases in the capital continue to rise.
