The Queen met several dignitaries from around the world today at Buckingham Palace during an ordinary session of the audiences she carries out every week. And she decided to greet her guests by shaking their hands without wearing gloves, after being spotted yesterday hosting an investiture ceremony with her hands covered.
The Queen donned a red loose dress this morning to meet the President of Malta, George Vella, his wife Miriam, and the Ambassador of Cuba, Elena Montalvo Alvarez.
Pictures taken inside the palace shows the monarch smiling and chatting as she welcomes her guests for a private audience.
The Queen, who accessorised her red dress with her signature pearl necklace, a black handbag and black shoes, didn’t wear the gloves she was seen with yesterday as she was giving awards to outstanding Britons.
