Rainbow Six Siege maintenance: Ubisoft shutdown ranked for server downtime
Rainbow Six Siege maintenance is being performed today, which will mean temporary disruption to game time.
Ubisoft has confirmed that servers will be offline for around 30 minutes as they get the game ready for a busy weekend.
This Rainbow Six Siege server downtime is happening on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and will mean not being able to play ranked games for less than an hour.
Any changes to the existing maintenance schedule will be confirmed by Ubisoft on its social media channels.
The R6 support team has also confirmed that maintenance will only last 30 minutes for ranked games.
While maintenance will only last a short time, Ubisoft has warned that stat tracking could be affected during the weekend.
It appears that major disruption could hit Rainbow Six Siege servers this weekend and Ubisoft are preparing for that surge.
A message from Ubisoft explains: “Starting now, ranked will be deactivated until the maintenance is complete + you will not be able to queue for ranked.
“Start: 1:00 PM EDT / 6:00 PM CET – Downtime: ~ 30 minutes.”
“Following this maintenance, we foresee an impact on statistics tracking such as leader boards + challenges, as well as impact on multiplayer games + online services
“With this temporary adjustment, we aim to ensure a stable service for all users over this weekend. Thank you!”
