Ric Flair: WWE legend rushed to hospital after suffering ‘very serious’ medical emergency

Flair, 70, was initially taken to the emergency room to be treated according to TMZ Sports.

They claim his situation is “very serious” with Flair having been in Atlanta when he was taken ill.

It comes two years after Flair was placed in a medically induced coma for 11 days after his intestine ruptured.

The WWE legend had a massive star-studded bash for his 70th birthday in February having overcome that issue.

Flair’s camp or WWE are yet to comment on Flair’s health however fans have been quick to send their well-wishes.

One posted: “Fingers crossed he is okay”

Another added: “Prayers for The Nature Boy, Hopefully he kicks out at 2.9999.”

A third wrote: “Pulling for you Nature Boy”

And a fellow WWE fan commented: “Praying for you Ric”

A fifth wrote: “I pray for @RicFlairNatrBoy, a pure and utter legend”

With another adding: “Kick out at 2 and a half Nature Boy.”

Flair is officially recognised by WWE as a 16-time world champion and was inducted into the WWE Hal of Fame in 2008.

He kept his in-ring career going when helping Triple H defeat Batista at WrestleMania 35.

Conrad Thompson is promoting an event that Flair was due to attend next weekend in Las Vegas.

Starrcast has a number of wrestling personalities attend and it’s been reported that Thompson believes the reports are over-exaggerated.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com tweeted: “Conrad Thompson says the Ric Flair situation ‘is not as grave or serious’ as TMZ makes it out, and says that this was a planned procedure that Ric Flair wanted to have before Las Vegas.”

Thompson said: “Ric was not worried about this. Ric did not think this was going to be reported or on TMZ. It’s all systems go. The Roast of Ric Flair is still happening”
