The Royal Family spend a large amount of time jetting off around the world as part of their royal duty and are frequently photographed stepping off the plane. However, unlike most of us after a long-haul flight, the Royals always seem to look fresh-faced and ready for business.
While comfortable seats and first-class service onboard might be part of the solution to beating jet lag, it turns out both Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker Bowles share a beauty tip which helps keep them rejuvenated.
It comes in the form of skincare specialist Deborah Mitchell’s Heaven face creams.
According to Hello! magazine, both the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Cornwall are big fans of the Heaven skincare line, and in particular the Bee Venom Mask.
As the name suggests, the masks are made using actual bee venom and have been hailed as a nonsurgical alternative to a facelift.
“The funny thing is, I don’t get blown over by treating famous people.
“It was nice but a bit surreal really. I felt like I was walking in a dream so I appeared really cool. Sometimes now I still think, actually I should really pinch myself.”
Camilla, 67, and Kate, 32, both use the black and gold versions of the masks which have skin tightening qualities.
Kate also reportedly uses the Heaven Age Defiance Cream.
Of course, good skin care is not the only method the Royals put into practise when travelling.
Kate always makes sure not a hair is out of place by travelling with her own personal hairstylist Amanda Cook Tucker.
She is also known for taking plenty of outfits to choose from.
According to Royal Correspondent Emily Andrews, her formal dresses are so highly regarded they often don’t even make it into a suitcase, and are instead given their own seat on the aeroplane.
“Obviously when we go to the airports, especially when it’s hand luggage only, we’re trying to cram all our toiletries into that plastic bag,” she said.
She says she has “been on a plane where Kate’s dresses had their own seat to make sure they were kept flat.
“They are not going to be shoved in the hole just to be squashed by everyone else’s.”
The rest of her occasion clothes are placed in special outfit bags which are carried to and from the aircraft by staff.
