Former Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson unleashed her fury at First Minister Nicola Sturgeon over not explaining, in detail, her choices on coronavirus. Ms Sturgeon caused concern as she admitted Scotland would not be following the same advice as the Government on coronavirus earlier this month. While on Sky News, Ms Davidson conceded it was perfectly fine to differ on method of tackling coronavirus but demanded the First Minister answer for her Government’s “cover-up” of the coronavirus outbreak at the Nike conference and the lack of testing in care homes.
Ms Davidson said: “I don’t presume to know what Nicola Sturgeon Sturgeon thinks from one minute to the next.
“I think there is a history of wanting to do things differently to make a point that Scotland can.
“Nicola Sturgeon has been very clear during this COVID-19 crisis that she is making the decision.
“If you want to do things differently fine, but if that has consequences in Scotland then you have to answer for those consequences.”
