Spain holidays: Britons’ holidays saved? German tourists test out new protocols this month

If they are successful then Spain will open up its borders to foreign tourists from July which will hopefully include Britons.

The German tourists will be testing out the new rules on the Balearic Islands.

British tourists will only be allowed to visit once the UK’s infection rate has improved, which could be a possibility by July.

Balearic tourism minister Iago Negueruela said that 4,000 Germans will stay in Mallorca, 1,000 in Menorca and 1,000 will go to Ibiza and Formentera.
