Sri Lanka attacks: Asos billionaire’s 3 children killed in Colombo Easter massacre

A spokesperson for the owner of the online fashion giant confirmed three of his four children were killed in the blasts which targeted churches and luxury hotels in the country’s capital Colombo. The 46-year-old is Denmark’s richest man and is the second-largest individual private landowner in the UK and Scotland’s largest private landowner. According to the Mirror, Denmark’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said three Danish citizens were killed and a representative of Mr Povlsen, who owns clothing chain Bestseller, confirmed three of his four children had died. 

More than 200 people were killed in the eight bombings and 13 people have reportedly been arrested. 

Mr Povlsen is the sole owner of international clothes chain Bestseller and is estimated to be worth$5.8 billion. 

Last week the tycoon’ daughter Alma took to Instagram to post a photo of her siblings Astrid, Agnes and Alfred relaxing by a pool surrounded by palm trees. 

It is not known which of the three children were killed in the deadly blasts.
