The Chase: Bradley Walsh bursts into laughter after contestant’s wrong guess ‘It ain’t!’

Victoria was the contestant on the receiving end of Bradley Walsh’s unsympathetic response on today’s The Chase. Along with fellow players Nathan, Pam and Rich, the teenage student was hoping she had what it took to outrun Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace and head back to Scotland with some cash. And while she may have made it back to the Final Chase, it wasn’t without a slight hiccup, which the ITV host certainly made her well aware of.

After racking up £5,000 in her cash-builder, Bradley was full of praise for Victoria as she went head-to-head with Shaun.

However, he was clearly less than impressed when she got one of her questions wrong.

Bradley asked her: “Renaissance Frenchman Nostradamus wrote his predictions in what verse form?”

After seeing the possible answers, Bradley could already be heard giggling as he reeled off Quatrains, Sonnets and Limericks as the options.

A second agreed: “19!!!! Clever cookie! Get in Victoria!!! #TheChase.”

Although third player Rich couldn’t follow in her footsteps as he was caught by Shaun during his head-to-head.

Final player Pam, however, did scrape through to the Final Chase, making it three in the final.

And after one or two near-misses, the trio managed to rack up a score of 16.
