Man Utd table bid

Manchester United have made an offer for Fiorentina forward Federico Chiesa, according to La Nazione.

Jadon Sancho is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s top target but Borussia Dortmund want a fee in excess of £100m while Aston Villa are demanding £80m for Jack Grealish.

A search has reportedly been launched for cheaper alternatives amid the coronavirus crisis.

It’s claimed the Red Devils tabled a bid of around £45m (€50m) for the Italy international Chiesa.

Man City talks

Manchester City have held talks with Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey.

The Jamaica international has been identified as a replacement for Leroy Sane, who has rejected a contract extension.

Sane is expected to join Bayern Munich at some point in the next year so Pep Guardiola wants a new player to take his place.

According to Foot Mercato, Bailey has been identified but City face competition from clubs across the continent.

Arsenal permanent deal

Arsenal have triggered the permanent option in Pablo Mari’s loan deal, according to Coluna Do Fla.

The Gunners signed the Spaniard on loan from Flamengo in January with a view to a full-time transfer.

He has made three appearances for Mikel Arteta’s outfit but suffered a serious injury in Wednesday’s loss to Manchester City.

Mari would be the first permanent signing of the Arteta era.
