Microsoft is working on numerous fixes so it’s worth checking regularly to see if things have changed. There could also be another less worrying reason why the May 2020 update isn’t available. Microsoft is rolling out this software slowly across the world.
Explaining more, Microsoft said: “To ensure you continue to have a reliable, productive experience with your Windows 10 devices, we are taking a measured and phased approach to how we offer the May Update, initially limiting availability to those devices running Windows 10, versions 1903 and 1909 who seek the update via Windows Update.”
If you’d like to check to find out whether the Windows 10 May 2020 Update is ready to be installed on your PC, here’s what you need to do.
Open your Windows Update panel – which you can found by heading to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update – and then hit the Check For Updates button. Once the update appears, you can select Download and Install.
